The Fall 2020 Session of the PCA After School Virtual Enrichment Classes are getting ready to begin. Please check out the process and what’s on offer this session below. Links are live below.
NOTE: ALL classes offered this session will be virtual-only classes run through Zoom
Sign-Up Process
• TO REGISTER: Links to individual class signups are available below. Registration ends at 9pm on Tuesday, November 10th, 2020.
• PAYMENT: Payment must be made by credit card online when you register.
• WAITLIST: Spots are given first come-first serve when you complete online registration and payment. If the class you are interested in is full, please email scpcaenrichment@gmail.com to be placed on a wait list. In your email, indicate your child’s name, grade, teacher and the class you are interested in. We will contact you if a spot becomes available. This is the ONLY way to be added to a waitlist!
• SCHOLARSHIPS: A limited number of need-based scholarships are available; please contact Ms. Wojcik for more information prior to registration.
• REFUND POLICY: We cannot issue refunds once registration and payment has been completed.
• ONCE YOU HAVE REGISTERED: If you have not already done so this year, sign and return the Waiver and Release and Acknowledgment of Student Behavior Policy (attached) and place it in your child’s school folder to be given to his/her teacher (this only needs to be done 1x per year).

Magic w/ Jeremy the Magician– Grades 3-5 (50 kids max)

Description: During our virtual magic trick workshop, we will learn fun magic tricks with common, everyday objects, such as playing cards, coins, and dollar bills. We will learn the secrets and methods to these fun tricks, as well as the subtleties and psychology that make them feel like magic!

Royal Princess Prep– Grades K-2 (20 kids max)

Description: Join Best of Long Island Award Winning Entertainment Company for Cooking with a Princess! Join a new character every week as we cook a fun and themed recipe together! (this class requires at-home adult supervision)

Description: Join local favorite art studio Claynation for this crafty after school program. Students will create lots of fun projects including ceramics, mosaics, and canvas paintings. Don’t miss the fun & creativity!

Jewelry-making w/ Kathleen DiResta– Grades 2-5 (8 kids max)

Description: Explore jewelry-making with local artist Kathleen DiResta! Projects will include elastic beaded bracelets with letters and charms, woven leather bracelets and necklaces, making beads with recycled paper, and using wire and beads for wire-wrapped flowers.

Breath & Meditation– Grades 4-5 (15 kids max)

Description: Breath and Meditation Class: 50-min of mindful breathing and gentle movement. In this class, we’ll connect to our mind and bodies through breath and elements of rhythm.

Chess Nuts– Grades *2-5 (*under 2nd grade by permission) (12 kids max)

Description: Don’t miss out on the chance to learn and improve your chess skills, followed by coached playing time! In addition to the lesson and coaching, this one hour weekly program features the opportunity for students to play unlimited Chess games against other students anytime during the 4-week session!
