Ali Ciampa President:
- Welcome to our last meeting.
- The Fun Run was a success.
- The PCA fundraiser exceeded expectations. Thank you everyone for your help. We had hoped to make $40,000 from the auction and actually made $60,000! We can now have funds to draw from as needed for the garden and learning log area. All the children have their own gardening supplies, which will be kept in their classrooms.
- We used $7,500 from the PCA auction to purchase a Weather Bug for our school. It is connected to the national weather system and we will also be connected to other school’s weather bugs….
- The Northshore Highschool Homecoming Committee wants to plan a district carnival. They have requested that the middle school and each elementary school contribute $1,200-$1,500 each to give the district a free carnival. The PCA executive board voted “no”. The PCA members at today’s meeting also voted “no.” The members who attended today’s meeting voted “yes” to encourage the Homecoming Committee to charge admission to the carnival.

Peggy Friedman & Ann Marie Macrigiane -Co-Treasurers
Natasha Gordon- Co-President
Claudia Ames-PR
Lori Kilada & Natasha Difeo- Events co-chairs

Student achievement will be discussed and their will be a vote on the rubber mulch removal. The alternative would be wood chips. We would have to obtain architectural review plans, it probably wouldn’t be ready until October
- Nedra Bleifer, Farmingo
Farmingo will be open through the summer
It will be hosted at someone’s house, volunteers are needed. Volunteers will take turns hosting, Wednesdays, throughout the summer. It will only take up a few hours of the volunteer’s day. all volunteers receive 30% off their orders.
The last week of school there will be a table set with home made frozen treats for students to sample.
Next year will probably be Nedra’s final year with the Nutrition Committee and Farmingo
