  • Art: Doodle for Google contest started- please see Mrs. Giurlanda for information and an entry form. Art club will begin October 11th for grades 4 and 5. Permission slips were due last Friday. Upcoming Art shows will be announced as we get closer.
  • Music: Sea Cliff Singers is starting tomorrow morning 7:30AM in the auditorium. Preparations for another performance at the Barclays Center have been put into motion. The Sea Cliff Winter Concert is scheduled for Wednesday December 14th.

  • STEAM:
Engineering design challenge- using STEAM to connect to science units
5th– micro worlds: detailed observations using hand lenses
4th– circuits: how electricity flows and the engineering experience to make signage
3rd– food chains and webs: engineering different bird beaks
K-2 start mid November

K-5 started with cooperative games focusing on team work, cooperation and communication
K-3: foot skills for soccer
