The Winter 2021 Session of the PCA After School Virtual Enrichment Classes are getting
ready to begin. Please check out the process and what’s on offer this session below.
NOTE: ALL classes offered this session will be virtual-only classes run through Zoom

Sign-Up Process
• TO REGISTER: Visit the google link on the PCA Website at 9pm on Wednesday, January
20th, 2021, and links to individual class signups will be available. Registration ends at 9pm on
Friday, January 22nd, 2021.

• PAYMENT: Payment must be made by credit card online when you register.
• WAITLIST: Spots are given first come-first serve when you complete online registration and
payment. If the class you are interested in is full, please email
scpcaenrichment@gmail.com to be placed on a wait list. In your email, indicate your child’s
name, grade, teacher and the class you are interested in. We will contact you if a spot
becomes available. This is the ONLY way to be added to a waitlist!
• SCHOLARSHIPS: A limited number of need-based scholarships are available; please contact
Ms. Wojcik for more information prior to registration.
• REFUND POLICY: We cannot issue refunds once registration and payment has been
completed.
• ONCE YOU HAVE REGISTERED: If you have not already done so this year, sign and return
the Waiver and Release and Acknowledgment of Student Behavior Policy (attached) and
place it in your child’s school folder to be given to his/her teacher (this only needs to be done
1x per year).

Winter 2021- Virtual Classes

  • Super Soccer Stars– Grades K-2 (8 kids min, 15 kids max)
    Description: Bring your afterschool soccer fun home with our fully interactive virtual soccer
    classes! Through a digital classroom, students will participate with their classmates and work
    directly with their coach on soccer drills and skills. Lessons are designed to play in a small
    space – a 5×5 foot space is all you need. Classes are geared to team participation but also
    allows for 1:1 coaching. And the fun doesn’t stop in the classroom – coaches provide students
    with fun activities for after class such as building your own soccer goal box and beat-the-coach challenges!!

  • My Style Camp: Fashion DIY and Repurposing– Grades 1-5* (8 kids min, 15 kids max.
    Grades 1 and 2 may need parental assistance)
    Description: My Style Camp is a program that encourages kids to discover their own
    creativity through fashion and costume design. In this fashion focused virtual program
    the children will create and embellish designs with sustainability and fun in mind. Our
    theme of 2021 is to bring joy and color to everything we do! Classes include
    decorating masks, mini totes and more!!

  • Lavner Camps at NYIT presents 3D Minecraft: Custom Builder, Collaborations and
    Competitions– Grades 1-5 (8 kids min, 32 max)
    Description: The ultimate Minecraft Academy! Welcome to our incredible 3D Minecraft
    course. Are you ready to flex your creative muscles in Minecraft? Work together with
    fellow students on our own private servers to create awesome builds, amazing
    redstone contraptions, and exciting command blocks! Learn from the pros with this
    deep dive program!

    with a Princess! Join a new character every week as we cook a fun and themed recipe
    together!

  • ClayNation– Grades 1-5 (30 kids max)
    Description: Join local favorite art studio Claynation for this crafty after school program.
    Students will create lots of fun projects including ceramics, mosaics, and canvas paintings.

  • Lavner Camps at NYIT presents Roblox: Innovation, Design and Competitions– Grades
    2-5 (8 kids min, 32 max)
    Description: Join the world’s leading Roblox Academy! In this class you can design
    and create your own 3D games. Choose from a variety of templates, learn new skills
    and customize your own game! Within your games, you can add awesome interactive
    features such as traps, doors, jump pads and drawbridges. You can even customize
    the terrain of your game to make it easy or difficult! Want to make a parkour course?
    Make sure to add lots of custom features to challenge each player. With so many tools
    at your disposal, you can hand-craft a game that is unique, fast-paced and fun!
    Lessons in this course cover LUA programming to bring life to different features in
    Roblox. You will also learn how to add characters to their environment and code cool
    features such as player health! Learn from the pros with this deep dive program!

  • Snapology presents Story Builders– Grades K-5 (6 kids min, 15 kids max)
    Description: Snapology provides an interactive, hands-on learning experience for
    children. Using LEGO bricks and other building mediums, children explore different
    topics under guided instruction.
    Story Builders Program Overview: Once upon a time…your child became the author of
    their favorite stories! In this program, students will explore the primary elements of
    storytelling as they design their own unique stories focused on the characters and plot
    lines of stories they’ve heard before. Maybe they will dazzle us with tales of faraway
    lands, with amazing adventures of superheroes or even science experiments gone very,
    very wrong. The possibilities for creation are endless. *NOTE: students must have
    access to a variety of Legos

  • Science Museum of Long Island– Grades 1-5 (8 kids minimum, 15 kids maximum)
    Description: The Science Museum of Long Island virtual programs offer students an
    interactive way to fuel their curiosity. Through demonstrations, experiments and crafts,
    they will explore a wide range of science topics. Each week will focus on a different
    topic that will include hands on elements using simple supplies. These topics include:
    rocks and minerals, buoyancy, catapults, sound, flight and animals
